What is an Aluminium Bi-folding Door?
A folding door system optimises your way of living by drawing the exterior home, with a minimum of space usage.
The high-performance system offers different opening types, both inward and outward, to meet all possible requirements.
Apart from the standard folding elements, they can feature a main door principle, in which the first leaf is used as an entrance door without affecting the other folding leaves.
Highly thermally insulated sliding doors made from aluminium create new spaces. A conservatory can become one with your garden, whilst your patios living space can seem extended.
Thanks to the high stability of aluminium, buildings can be designed with narrow profiles and particularly large areas of glass, providing maximum transparency and light penetration.
The non-insulated sliding doors offer a wide range of new design concepts for indoor use.

How do you clean Aluminium bifold doors?
Always use a non-abrasive cloth when cleaning your aluminium frames so you don’t scratch the material and leave behind marks that can be hard to remove. Avoid damaging the finish of the frames by not scrubbing too hard at stains and stubborn marks. Investigate what these may be and treat accordingly. Whilst cleaning, keep an eye out for any mould or mildew, as this could suggest there may be a condensation issue, which will need to be resolved.
Keeping the glass clean is going to be your priority to ensure you enjoy the view of your garden as much as possible without the obstruction of dirt which has built up on the glass.
Using a cleaning solution of water & vinegar will leave you with a streak-free shine; the added benefit of this method of cleaning is it’s also eco-friendly.
Soap and water can also be used as an alternative, but don’t use too much soap as you may find this will leave behind streaks.
Microfiber cloths are great for achieving a streak-free look. Balls of newspaper can also be used to help you clean glass to perfection.
